A swimming timing system in a 50 m Olympic pool in Panama

STRAMATEL also brings its expertise in the swimming pools! Chiriqui city located in Panama built a brand new 50 m Olympic pool. Where:

• 20 touch pads, 2,4 m wide, at both ends of the pool
• 10 false start detectors integrated in starting platforms
• A complete swimming timing system for 10 lanes
• An outdoor electronic scoreboard model PCX16.10.8

have been installed.

The construction of this new Olympic pool is part of Panama policy to develop the practice of sport at its highest level. The singularity of this half-covered aquatic centre is the 50 m Olympic pool.

Genuine competition pool, the new Panamanian Olympic pool has been set up near “ La Batista” sport venue located in the City of David. The president of Panama, Laurentino Cohen has inaugurated on 15^th October 2022 this unique sport centre in the country.

The Olympic pool has been conceived in accordance with the FINA requirements, the international swimming federation. STRAMATEL supplied high technology and quality equipment in the David Chiriqui’s Olympic pool.
