The security and the visibility on industrial sites are major challenges, particularly in the railway sector. The group alstom understood it well by calling on stramatel to replace its old information displays with a Centralized LED panel on his test routes. This project aims to offer clear, reliable and accessible information to all operators, day and night.
A centralized and hierarchical display for clear information
The new LED display designed by Stramatel presents a precise organization of information. In the upper part, it displays the date, the time and the temperature, as well as the building number. In the center of the panel, the channel number is highlighted on a white background, accompanied by a reading area of the catenary tension. A two-tone light instantly indicates the voltage value: green for a compliant voltage, red in case of anomaly.
A specific line informs about the track security status : the red reports prohibited access, while the green allows access. In the lower part, the display recalls the security conditions to be respected to access the test routes, with PPE pictograms and the emergency number to contact.
Optimal readability 24 hours a day thanks to LED technology
To guarantee a perfect readability at more than 30 meters, even in direct sunlight or in the dark, the panel is equipped with a high brightness LED screen and a polycarbonate anti-reflective. The display automatically adapts its brightness according to the ambient lighting, ensuring constant visibility day and night.
A system of automatic upper lighting has been integrated. As soon as the outdoor brightness becomes insufficient, Halogen spots light up to illuminate the panel, facilitating the reading of information in all circumstances.
A secure and connected display for high voltage channels
The centralized display recovers in real time Voltage information high voltage lines. The triggering of lights and alerts is carried out automatically depending on the situation on the tracks, reinforcing the safety of the teams in the field.
Robust installation adapted to industrial constraints
The installation of the Stramatel LED panel on the Alstom site required precise logistics. the panel, of dimensions 2500 mm x 1700 mm and heavy 88 kg, has been placed in height for maximum visibility. Its two-tone LED line displays essential messages in red or green, depending on security requirements.
