The LDLC Asvel Women’s Basketball Club, which evolves in Women’s Basketball League (LFB), benefits from new audiovisual equipment in its hall of the Palais des Sports in Lyon Gerland. Stramatel installed two Video LED screens of 15m² and professional score displays to improve the spectator experience and enhance the visibility of club partners.

These LED display panels offer a dynamic and customizable solution to display scores, animations and sponsored messages, bringing additional dimension to the matches of the women’s ASVEL.

Intuitive control thanks to the SL Video System

The LED video screens installed by Stramatel are not only used to display scores: they also allow to broadcast animated content like videos, animations or advertising messages. The control of these screens is ensured by the SL Video System, software developed internally by Stramatel.

Thanks to this solution, LDLC ASVEL women can personalize the display in the colors of its club, while guaranteeing increased visibility for its partners. This system also helps to enrich match atmosphere by broadcasting interactive animations such as encouragement (‘make noise’, ‘defense!’) or key moments (‘3 points’, ‘dead time’).

Equipment recommended by the French Basketball Federation (FFBB)

In addition to LED screens, Stramatel also installed score displays in accordance with standards of the French Basketball Federation (FFBB). This equipment includes, in particular, 24-second attack time displays 4 sides, placed above the baskets to indicate the remaining possession time to each team. These devices are essential for the smooth running of a professional basketball match.

Finally, for an even more precise management of the game, Red and yellow strips LEDs have been added to the basketball panels to report stoppage time. This allows not only to comply with the regulations, but also to offer better readability to players and spectators.

Innovative technology at the service of LDLC ASVEL women’s club

The installation of this new equipment represents a step forward for the professionalization of the infrastructures of the LDLC ASVEL women’s club. Thanks to these technological solutions, the Palais des Sports in Lyon Gerland now has a state-of-the-art system, offering spectators an immersive experience while promoting club partners.
